Atalanta mourn the passing of Gabriele Andena.

Having joined the Club in the summer of 1974, Andena wore the Nerazzurri shirt for five seasons, helping Atalanta secure promotion to Serie A in the 1976/77 campaign. A tenacious and fair defender, he made 171 appearances for the Club before leaving in 1979, scoring one goal during the 1976/77 Serie B season.
