The Club extends its sincerest condolences
Atalanta, deeply moved, mourn the passing of Eugenio Perico
A product of Atalanta’s youth academy, Perico, a native of Curno in the province of Bergamo, wore the first-team jersey for six seasons, from October 1981 through the 1986/87 campaign, amassing a total of 173 appearances and scoring two goals.
After brining his playing career to a close, he continued his journey in black and blue as a youth-team coach, making a significant contribution to the nurturing of several young prospects. Within the youth academy ranks, he led the Giovanissimi Nazionali to four national titles, leaving an indelible mark on the Club’s history while embodying and passing on its core values.
President Antonio Percassi, Co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca, and the entire Atalanta family extend their heartfelt condolences to his loved ones during this time of mourning.
