Third-place finish for the Nerazzurri in Parma
Atalanta For Special's second-tier team put in an outstanding performance at the "Tardini Special" Tournament in Parma, earning the bronze medal and securing a place on the podium for the third consecutive year.
Drawn into a group featuring teams from across Italy, the Nerazzurri opened their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Blue Star Roma, thanks to a goal by Ulisse Pezzotti from an assist by Fabian Cordozo. In their second match, they played out a 1-1 draw against Livorno, with Atalanta's goal scored directly from a corner kick by Giacomo Probo.
A crucial 2-0 win over Brescia, courtesy of a goal from Fabian Cordozo and an own goal forced by one of his crosses, secured Atalanta's place in the third-place playoff.
In the final stage of the tournament, played at Parma's Ennio Tardini Stadium, Atalanta For Special defeated Legino 2-0 thanks to goals from Tino Eklou and Renato Riva, sealing an impressive third-place finish.
The result confirms the team's continued growth and development under the guidance of staff members Aurelio Birolini, Alfredo Locati, Walter Probo, and Leonardo Marcassoli, while once again highlighting the values of inclusion, respect, teamwork, and participation that lie at the heart of the Atalanta For Special project.
