ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL - CAGLIARI TUKIKI B 4-0 - Atalanta goals scored by Raffaele Moreni (2), Andrea Grigis, Marco Nosari
From the very beginning, the Atalanta For Special Juniors showed all their offensive power, even though Cagliari managed to keep their goal safe for almost the entire duration of the first half: with just five minutes remaining before the break, captain Raffaele Moreni rose to the occasion and, after unlocking the match with a beautiful solo action, doubled the Nerazzurri's lead by finalizing Paolo Bitetti's precise assist.
In the second half, Cagliari did not give up but rather upped the ante by showing a significant reaction as they put in great difficulty the Nerazzurri's rearguard, holding its ground thanks to the defensive solidity of Matteo Bosio and Andrea Grigis. Making his seasonal debut, the latter even scored Atalanta's third of the game with a low shot that left the opposing goalkeeper no chance. In the meantime, Andrea Arrigoni's world-class goal from the midfield was cancelled: in fact, the referee spotted a hand touch just before the shot. Just enough time to resume the game and Marco Nosari brought the score to 4-0 taking advantage of Raffaele Moreni's assist. In the final minutes the guests try tried shorten the distances but the unbeatable Nerazzurri keeper Davide Giorgi saved the day with a couple of amazing goalkeeping displays.
The Nerazzurri grabbed another league win at the end of an enthralling match by two excellent teams. The post-match third half was especially appreciated, with the Atalanta For Special players sharing hot tea with their Cagliari counterparts. Not just football, then, but also a nice moment of sharing, respect and fair play.
