Atalanta For Special's last touch-ups ahead of their trial-match stage
On Saturday September 28 the Nerazzurri will face Briantea and Arluno
With Atalanta For Special's first commitments drawing nearer and nearer, coach Lesmo's Nerazzurri are ready to give the final touches before undergoing the trial matches that will assess the team's technical capabilities and the subsequent entry in the most suitable DPCS bracket .
Arranged by the FIGC's Divisione Paralimpica Calcio Sperimentale division, the event will take place in the Bettinelli Sporting Centre in Milan on September 28. The black-and-blue outfit, reigning Tier-3 regional champions and National Phase finalists last season, will sustain a double-header in the opening day.
With a 31-player roster subdivided in two groups for the occasion, Atalanta For Special will make their debut facing Briantea at 10:30 CEST in their tier-4 game. As for the game against Arluno, which will determine the Nerazzurri's access in either the 2nd or third bracket, kick-off is scheduled at 11:00 CEST instead. The outcomes of Saturday's twinbill will thus define the regional league and related group in which coach Gianmario Lesmo's lads will be drafted in for the 2024/25 season.
