For Special: Double friendly match for the Seniors

The Atalanta For Special Senior team took part in a triangular tournament last weekend, facing DCPS 2nd tier championship sides Milan and Fiorentina in a pair of friendly matches.

Watching closely from the sidelines at the Angelo Moratti Centre in Ossona were Gianmario Lesmo and his staff—Walter Probo, Aurelio Birolini, Gioachino Marconi, Leonardo Marcassoli and Alfredo Locati —keeping a keen eye on the Nerazzurri's performance.

Friendly match, 2nd tier DCPS championship, MILAN 3-0 ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL

The first game of the day was against Milan, a rematch of a friendly won by the Nerazzurri a few weeks ago. And given the result in favour of the hosts, another rematch is in order. Milan may have won 3-0, but the important thing is that the Nerazzurri have tested themselves against a quality opponent. These games help you grow and learn from your mistakes.

The second match of the day was with Fiorentina and it was a very close game from the first minutes. The For Special, although not on their best day, were definitely strong-willed this time. The Nerazzurri created several chances, some very clear, but failed to finalize them. On a throw-in, however, the Seniors unlocked the match thanks to Mirko Rota's goal, who scored on a precise between-the-lines pass from Giacomo Probo. The Seniors managed to control the game and led it until the final whistle.
