Atalanta debut for Piccini

Cristiano Piccini made his Atalanta debut at the Orogel Stadium in Cesena, as he made his first seasonal appearance in the 0-0 draw against Spezia. The right wing-back came on halfway through the first half for Depaoli.

The former Valencia player made the most out of the international break to get back on track and immediately took to the pitch against Spezia, for who he also played in the 2012-2013 season. The last match he played in Serie A was in May 2014, before his spells abroad between Spain and Portugal.
