Atalanta at the 12th edition of the 'Una vita da social' initiative organised by the Polizia di Stato

Atalanta also took part in the 12th edition of the 'Una vita da social' initiative, the itinerant legality education campaign of the Polizia di Stato - The Italian State Police - and the Ministry of Education and Merit as part of the 'Generations Connected' project.

The event, which took place in Piazzale Alpini in Bergamo, saw the Polizia di Stato meet up with students from the Istituto Tecnico Commerciale e Turistico Vittorio Emanuele II, the Liceo Scientifico Filippo Lussana and the Istituto Superiore Bortolo Belotti in a truck equipped with the latest technology by the Postal Police.

Atalanta were represented by Ivan Pelizzoli, Youth Academy Organizational Manager, and players Daniel Armstrong and Alberto Manzoni, who have played for both the Primavera and U-23 teams this season.

Una vita da Social" is the travelling digital education campaign, a project that is always in tune with the times, aimed at spreading greater awareness of the risks of the cyber world and promoting a more responsible and conscious use of technology.

The event was attended by Andrea Valentino, Chief of Police of the Province of Bergamo, Manuela De Giorgi, Head of the Postal Police of Lombardy, Giacomo Angeloni, Councillor for Security, and Ilena Fontana, contact person for education on the law and the fight against bullying and cyber-bullying at the Bergamo School District.
Representatives of the Forensic Police, the Traffic Police, sniffer dogs and the Bomb Squad of the Italian State Police also took part.
