The Casa del Giovane residents and the Women's Under-15s side attending the event
On Tuesday, October 14, the Casa del Giovane residents and the Women's Under-15s side took part in the interactive multimedia workshop organized by the "Associazione Atena" as part of Bergamo Scienza - the science outreach event annually held since 2003 and now celebrating its 23rd edition.
The session proved to be an engaging and educational experience, raising awareness among the Nerazzurri youngsters about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, as well as the risks of using a mobile phone while driving. Thanks to advanced simulation technology, participants were immersed in realistic scenarios to raise awareness on potential hazardous scenarios.
The project is organized and developed by a network of institutions, associations, and volunteers, including the Bergamo Traffic Police, the Ministry of the Interior, Bergamo’s Municipal Police, ATS Bergamo, ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII, the Atena Association, the Safe Driver Project, and the Ragazzi On the Road Association.
Special thanks go to doctor Andrea Noventa from the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII.
