Another point for Atalanta: the game at Pisa ends 1-1
Krstović finds the net, giving Atalanta their first draw under Palladino
A point apiece in the 2025/26 Serie Enilive MD21 opener as the all-Nerazzurri clash between Pisa and Atalanta ended in a 1-1 draw, with Krstović finding the net at the Cetilar Arena and giving Atalanta their first draw under Palladino.
A fiercely contested game from the first minutes, with end-to-end action across the pitch. The home side registered a few chances when Carnesecchi blocked Touré’s near-goal effort from deep, forcing a corner at the 21st minute. Just a minute later, Meister failed to connect with Aebischer’s tame shot. On 31 minutes, Musah broke in behind the defense, but his glancing header found no teammate. Then, in the 40th, Zalewski played a clever vertical ball to Bernasconi, only for Scuffet to close him down with a low save.
In the second half, the hosts went close in the 52nd minute, when Carnesecchi produced a brilliant reflex to deny Moreo’s downward header. Atalanta responded in the 57th: De Ketelaere made a sharp run down the right, Scalvini met it with a powerful finish, but Scuffet got a crucial touch with his foot. Atalanta again in the 62nd minute: Zalewski’s left-footed strike from the edge of the box grazed the post to Scuffet’s right. In the 76th minute, Carnesecchi was alert to tip Piccinini’s long-range shot over the crossbar. The deadlock was broken in the 84th minute when Krstović was quickest to react, redirecting the ball into the net after a rebound. The hosts drew level in the 87th with Durosimni's point-blank header. That proved to be the last real chance, and the game at the Cetilar Arena finished 1-1.
