Academy: the pre-season schedule
Primavera are the first to go on July 11
With the 2024-2025 season officially begun, the Atalanta Youth Sector will resume activities soon.
As always, Atalanta Primavera will be the first team to kickstart the pre-season: coach Giovanni Bosi's nerazzurri will gather at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia on Thursday, July 11, to usher in their new campaign with an afternoon drill.
Coach Stefano Lorenzi's U18s will start training on Thursday 1 August, while Tiziano Polenghi's U17s commence operations on Friday August 2.
Moving on to the reigning U16s champions, Alessio Gambirasio's lads will gather on Monday August 12. Lastly, Alfonso Esposito's U15s will be the last team to hit the training grounds: save the date for Friday 16 August.
This year as well, part of the Academy sides' pre-season training will comprise "high-altitude" camps, to be held in the Bergamo valleys for the most part. While the Serina valley hosts the Primavera (July 15 to 23), U18s (August 3 to 10) and U16s' (between the 17th and the 24th of August) boot camps, the U15s will be off to Loverefrom August 17 to 23. The U17s will instead take up residence in Fanano (in the province of Modena) from the 6th to the 13th of August.
