Academy: outcomes of the weekend (30/9-1/10)

Home wins for the U18s, the U16s and the U15s

With the Primavera's late fixture against Sassuolo (scheduled for tomorrow 2/10 at 16:00 CEST at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia) still in hand, four Academy teams hit the pitches between Saturday and Sunday for their respective home fixtures.

As for the "twin multi-side fixture" against Venezia, both sides came out victorious: while the Under 16 clinched a 3-0 win courtesy of Camara, Colombo and Damiano; the Under 15 even bested their peers' goal galore with a 6-3 walkover (thanks to both  Amalfitano and Gasparello scoring a brace each and single goals by Faveri and Fugazzola).

As for today, while the Under 18 defeated Genoa 4-2 with single goals by Baldo, Ragnoli Galli, Ramaj and Camara; the Under 17 suffered a 4-1 defeat against Milan (with Bono featuring the scoresheet for Atalanta).

WOMEN'S TEAMS: U17s THIRD IN THE FINAL PHASE OF THE PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT

Noteworthy is our Women's Under-17s' third-place finish in the Final Phase of the Pre-season National tournament run by the FIGC Youth and Scholastic Sector. After losing 4-2 to Juventus in Saturday's semifinal (Amura scored a double for Atalanta), the Nerazzurre won the third-place playoff against Milan by the narrow margin of 6-5 in a goal-ridden game; while the Rossonere equalised in the 90th minute, Osypchuk's injury-time winner secured the victory. The other goals were courtesy of Amura (hat-trick), Cortinovis and Chiappa.
