2025 AFCON: two assists and one goal for Lookman

Currently underway in Morocco, the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, features two Atalanta players among its protagonists: Ademola Lookman with Nigeria and Odilon Kossounou with Ivory Coast. The opening stage of the tournament features the group phase, with three matches for each national team.

In their group stage MD2, Nigeria edged past Tunisia 3-2, with Ademola Lookman taking center stage. He set up the first and second goals with two brilliant assists before sealing the victory with a goal of his own. Lookman played the full 92 minutes. With this win, Nigeria have punched their ticket to the next round with one game to spare.

On Sunday 28, Kossounou and the Ivory Coast will face their second group-stage clash, with Cameroon lining up as their next opponents
