2024 Xmas Match Auction: shirts assigned on Monday, January 13!
All proceeds will go to the Associazione Amici della Pediatria ETS ODV charity
The charity auction for the 26 jerseys from the Christmas match is nearing its final stretch: tomorrow, Monday 13 January, the special "Christmas" jerseys worn by the entire first-team squad on December 22 on the occasion of Atalanta v Empoli (which saw the Nerazzurri triumph 3-2) will find their new owners during the airing of the TuttoAtalanta episode!
As in previous editions, final bids will only be accepted via phone calls to the number announced during the live broadcast. Until then, bids can continue at any time via SMS to 335.6969423 or by email at asta@bergamotv.it.
Bidders can place offers for multiple jerseys (all autographed by the respective players), but each shirt must have a different winner to ensure that as many fans as possible can participate. In the days following the broadcast, winners will be contacted to turn their pledges into payments via bank transfer.
This initiative is organized in collaboration with regional broadcaster Bergamo TV (channel 15 on digital terrestrial TV and also available via streaming), and the proceeds will go to the Amici della Pediatria charity through the Atalanta Fund, established by the club at the Fondazione della Comunità Bergamasca Onlus.
Bids can be made at any time via SMS to 335.6969423 and email at asta@bergamotv.it: even though offers on multiple jerseys (all to be autographed by the respective players) are allowed, each jersey must have its own winner to maximize the number of fans involved.
The updated bid amounts for all 26 jerseys will be published on the social media channels of TuttoAtalanta Bergamo TV, on L'Eco di Bergamo's website, and here on our website, right up until the live TuttoAtalanta broadcast.
The attached PDF provides the latest update on bids as of Sunday, January 12, at 20:00 CET.
The Associazione Amici della Pediatria ETS ODV, volunteering at Bergamo Hospital (now ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII) since 1990, will use the funds raised from the Christmas Match shirt auction to create a Wait & Play area in the hospital corridor. This space will be dedicated to children visiting the pediatric clinics for treatments, check-ups, and follow-ups.
The goal is to transform waiting time into play—the "work" of a child as they grow.
The activities will be designed for children to engage in independently, without the need for professional staff or volunteers, encouraging them to explore their abilities and interact with others, promoting relationships and socialization.
By integrating play into the hospital environment, the initiative emphasizes its crucial role in a child's development.
