2024/25 Champions League: Atalanta's League Phase Schedule
Debuting at home v Arsenal on September 19
Atalanta's fixture list in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, which will adopt a new single 36-team League Phase format from this season onward, has just been unveiled.
The Nerazzurri will make their debut hosting Arsenal in Bergamo on Thursday, September 19. After playing Shakhtar Donetsk away on Wednesday October 2, MD3 will see Atalanta welcome Celtic on Wednesday the 23rd of October. Two back-to-back outings will then await the Nerazzurri in November, away at Stuttgart and Young Boys on the 6th and 26th of December. As for Atalanta's last UCL commitment of 2024, the Gewiss stadium will open its gates on December 10 to usher in Real Madrid. Moving on to 2025, the remaining two Matchdays will see Atalanta play Sturm Graz at home on Tuesday, January 21, before winding down their League Stage commitments away at Barcelona on Wednesday, the 29th of January.

The top eight overall advance directly to the round of 16; sides finishing from ninth to 24th will contest the knockout phase play-offs, with the victors going through to the last 16. From then on it is a straight knockout.
