Youth Academy: the 2024/25 technical staff
Coaches from the Primavera to the U15s
The 2024-2025 season has officially begun also at Atalanta's Youth Academy: continuity will be the name of the game for the Department led by Roberto Samaden, with a few minor tweaks here and there. Starting off with Gianpaolo Bellini, the former U17s coach has been promoted to a more executive role after his outstanding job on the sidelines: now appointed as Deputy Technical Head of the Attività Agonistica, Bellini will keep providing his skills and expertise to the black-and-blue Academy as assistant to Alex Pinardi, who has been confirmed in his role of Technical Chief of the Attività Agonistica and who will keep working closely with Giancarlo Finardi, Deputy manager of the Youth System.
Novelties entail also the scouting area with the arrival of Bergamo-born specialist Gian Paolo Manighetti who, after his long tenure at Inter, is appointed as scouting manager for the Academy (Roberto Marta will instead be the Head of Scouting at Atalanta U23s).
The Attività agonistica teams' technical staffs have also been defined: with Giovanni Bosi and Stefano Lorenzi have been confirmed at the helm of Atalanta Primavera and the U18s, the U17s will be coached by Tizioano Polenghi, joining Atalanta's Youth Sector after his lengthy tenure at Inter. With Alessio Gambirasio confirmed as caretaker of the reigning Italian Under-16s champions and with the U14s to be lead by Roberto Previtali, Alfosnos Esposito from AlbinoLeffe has been appointed on the U15s' sidelines.
