The 2021-2022 Serie A TIM
League to kick off on the 22nd of August
The Serie A 2021-2022 league will officially begin on the 22nd of August and will end on the 22nd of May 2022.
The midweek fixtures will be five:

- 1 December 2021
- 22 December 2021
- 6 January 2022
There will be no matches on:
- 5 September 2021
- 10 October 2021
- 14 November 2021
- 26 December 2021
- 2 January 2022
- 30 January 2022
- 27 March 2022
Thirty-eight matchdays divided between the first round and the second round of the season, with the feature that the second round will be asymmetrical in the sequence of matchdays compared to the first round. The new format, which is already in force in other leagues such as the Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1, will have a particular change compared to the other countries that have adopted it: the away matches will totally differ from the home fixtures, both in order, both as a composition within the same round.
The teams competing in the 2021-2022 Serie A are: Atalanta, Bologna, Cagliari, Empoli, Fiorentina, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Napoli, Roma, Salernitana, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Spezia, Torino, Udinese e Venezia.
The fixture list will be drawn up on the 14th of July.
