4th place: Federico Bergonzi, Atalanta U23s 1-1 Trento, 2024-2025 Serie C NOW MD3

Let's start off with Marco Bergonzi. Atalanta U23s' wingback got but a hair away from the podium with his scoring debut as a black-and-blue: sparking the U23s' offensive in pure quarterback style, our number 66 laid the ball off to Panada, who closed the give-and-go with one of his trademark breakout pass and found none other than Bergonzi himself. Coming full circle without a second thought, Federico opted for an acrobactic first-touch finish to give Francesco Modesto's side the temporary lead.

3rd place: Lorenzo Riccio, Udinese 1-4 Atalanta, 2024-2025 Primavera 1 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” MD5

Bettering his previous placement, the second consecutive feature in the Goal of The Month pageant meant a third place for Atalanta Primavera's no. 8 Lorenzo Riccio! This time it fell to the U23s' top-scorer's second of the game in our 1-4 win at the "Teghill" stadium in Udine to enter this month's shortlist. After breaking the deadlock on 13 minutes with a tap-in from close range, Riccio doubled with an undisputed balistic feat 4 minutes later: stationed on the left offensive third, coach Bosi's bomber cleaved the ball under the roof of the net and bested the opposite keeper with an unstoppable right-footed free-kick.

Matchday 5 of the 2024-2024 Primavera 1 "Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti" league saw Atalanta Primavera walk off the Guido Teghil stadium in Lignano Sabbiadoro with the full three points as coach Bosi's Nerazzurri clinched their 2nd consecutive league win, the 3rd overall also considering the Youth League triumph, after imposing themselves 4-1 over hosting side Udinese.

Runner-up: Davide Zappacosta, Atalanta 2-3 Como, 2024-2025 Serie A Enilive MD5

Silver medal for Zappacosta's righ-footed banger! Atalanta v Como, 16th minute: Carnesecchi unleashed the black-and-blue counter with a sweeper-keeper through ball towards Retegui, who then laid the ball off to De Ketealere. After bewildering the opponents through faints and step-overs, the Belgian favoured Bellanova's overlapping, whose cross was then put out for a corner. Hanging around the by-line, our number 16 whipped the ball out for a prowling Retegui, whose header got defused by Dossena. With the ball bound to bounce away from the "warm zones" of the pitch... Was it not for Davide Zappacosta: turning the tide of a play that would have otherwise turned into a close call, the black-and-blue number 77 smashed the opposing rebound on the half-volley to cleave it in the bottom corner.

WINNER: Lazar Samardžić, Bologna 1-1 Atalanta, 2024-2025 Serie A Enilive MD6

And the winner is... Laki! Back on the podium after the silver medal lifted in the latest POTM pageant, the Serbian mid pickes up the gong thanks to his very first Nerazzurro goal. And what a way to debut, we may add: a superbly crafted left-footer, unleashed as the crown jewel of a display just as classy as crucial: Dall'Ara stadium, 89:20 on the stopwatch, after caressing the ball with the sole and wrong-footing Urbanski through a seemingly endless streak of step-overs, Lazar topped it all off with a precision-guided shot, homed straight in the far bottom corner of the goal defended by Skorupski. All within 5 seconds flat...
