Olympique de Marseille v Atalanta, key information for Nerazzurri fans travelling to Marseille

Supporters travelling to Marseille for Atalanta's matchday 4 contest in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League against Olympique de Marseille - taking place at the Vélodrome Stadium (3 Bd Michelet, 13008, Marseille) on Wednesday 5 November with kick-off at 21:00 CET - are advised to take note of the following important information, received by the hosting club and the French authorities. Gates for away fans will open at 19:00 CET local time.
MEETING POINT
A Meeting Point for Atalanta supporters will be set up in Place de la Joliette, opening at 3:00 PM.
All Atalanta fans must gather at the Meeting Point in Place de la Joliette.
At 5:45 PM, there will be a single collective departure by metro from the Meeting Point to the stadium, escorted by the Police.
The first ticket check will take place through mobile scanning at the entrance of the metro station, near the Meeting Point.
ATTENTION: It will not be possible to access the away section of the stadium in any other way. Fans who go directly to the away section without first going through the meeting point, as required by the local authorities, will be denied access to the stadium.
It is strongly advised not to go to the city centre or to the Vieux-Port (Old Port) area.
HOW TO REACH THE PARKING
By car, minibus and minivan: For those travelling to Marseille by car, minibus, or van, parking will only be available near the Meeting Point in Place de la Joliette, which will open at 3:00 PM. From there, fans will reach the stadium using the dedicated metro line departing at 5:45 PM.
Attendance at the meeting point is mandatory, and it will not be allowed to reach the stadium independently.
By bus: All organised buses, after dropping off the fans at the Meeting Point as mandatory, will be escorted to the designated parking areas near Place de la Joliette.
At the end of the match, all fans will be escorted by the Police by metro to the meeting point, from where they can take their buses, minibuses, cars, and minivans for the return trip.
SECURITY AND STADIUM ACCESS
Away Section: The gates will open at 7:00 p.m., and Atalanta fans must enter through Gate 20.
Disabled fans: Spectators in wheelchairs will have access to a special transport service provided by the public transport company, to be booked independently on the website https://www.rtm.fr/mobimetropole/ or by calling +33 (0)4 91 10 59 00, to reach the stadium. Access is through Gate 20.
INSIDE THE STADIUM
Food and drinks: The sale of alcoholic beverages is not permitted at the stadium bars. Payments can be made both in cash and by credit card.
Prohibited items not allowed inside the stadium:
- Power banks larger than a mobile phone;
- Suitcases, backpacks, and bags larger than A4 size
- Weapons or any objects that could be used as such
- Sharp or blunt objects
- Alcohol or drugs
- Bullets or explosives in solid, liquid, or gaseous form
- Pyrotechnic devices such as flares, smoke bombs, firecrackers, etc.
- Helmets
- Selfie sticks
