Lumezzane 2-1 Atalanta U23s

Registering their first away defeat, Atalanta U23s came off worst from the "Tullio Saleri stadium as Lumezzane imposed themselves 2-1 at home.

The first half proved itself most canny for the Nerazzurri, with the hosts threatening as early as 5 minutes after kick-off through Monachello, who almost broke the deadlock with a headed finish in the box. On 15 minutes, Dajcar did a great job at keeping the balance with a great save on Dalmazi's attempt. Despite converting Bernasconi's pass, Vlahović's 28-minutes goal was then ruled out for an offside. The hosts took the lead in the 33rd with Malotti, who capitalized on a risky back-pass to Dajcar, before doubling their lead on 46 minutes as Iori made the most of a defensive slip-up.

The second half turned out to be just as bumpy, with the Nerazzurri off to a sluggish start and struggling to find the right opening: on 48 minutes it was Bergonzi who had tto batten down the hatches with a last-ditch save on the line following a corner kick taken by Dalmazi. In the 70th De Nipoti burst into the box but only managed to sting Filigheddu's gloves while Navarro's 77-minute header on Panada's pass turned out too straight down the middle. Nodding the ball in after a corner kick situation, it was the Spanish centreback who halved the deficit on 85 minutes. Despite Lumezzane having the chance to restore their 2-goals gap, Dajcar smothered Moscato's attempt before Corti squandered the rebound finishing too high off target.
