Easter triumphs for U13s and U10s

Over the Easter weekend, plenty of Nerazzurri Grassroots sides hit the pitches in a host of festive tournamentes: in addition to being a yearly tradition, these competitions served as occasions for both racking up playing minutes and as a fertile ground for growth by testing themselves against a wide range of opponents.

The weekend thus saw one of Atalanta's U13s sides, pictured on the cover, bring home the Ravenna Top Club, which featured 48 teams from both Italy and abroad: after topping Group A with a perfect record, winning all five matches (11 goals scored, none conceded) and seeing off North Macedonian side FC Joker in the quarter-finals, the Nerazzurri went on to come out 1-0 on top of Sassuolo in the semis before sealing the title with a 1-0 win over Uesse Sarnico in the final.

Another standout display came courtesy of the Under-10s, who clinched the Città di Crema tournament after claiming top spot in the preliminary group with wins over Hellas Verona and Pergolettese before defeating Monza and Inter 3-2 and 4-1 respectively in the final stage.
