Semi-final: BRESSO 1-2 ATALANTA, the report For the main event of the day, the semifinal saw Atalanta for Special face Bresso in the rematch of the Group Stage's MD2, which saw the Milan-based team impose themselves 4-0. Having put the setback down to experience, Atalanta For Special opted for a tight-knit tactic, closing ranks both in the midfield and in the backlines while gradually stepping up their game thanks to a combination of a steadfast approach and a stifling pressing, which ended up putting Bresso on the ropes. The Nerazzurri took the lead on 10 minutes through Ulisse Pezzotti, who finished his previous give-and-go with Daniel Caccia with a shot to the far bottom corner, a drive too powerful for the opposing keeper to thwart. After Bresso scored the equaliser, the Nerazzurri upped the ante and took the lead once again, courtesy of Ulisse Pezzotti who bagged his second of the game with a ferocious finish after being unleashed by Mirko Rota's back-heel flick. Celebrations broke wild after the final whistle: by defeating Bresso, unbeaten before the knockout tie against the Nerazzurri, Atalanta for Special already booked a place in the National Final Phase to take place in Rirrenia between May 18 and 19.
Final: Pro Patria 1-2 Atalanta For Special, the synopsis No time to unwind for the Nerazzurri, as Atalanta for Special got back on the pitch straightaway for the Regional Final against Pro Patria, the Group A champions on full points. Unfazed by fatigue, Atalanta cared to prove everyone wrong. And who else but Ulisse Pezzotti to give the Nerazzurri the lead once again? After dribbling his way past the opponent and trading passes with Mateo Virgillito, Ulisse broke the deadlock once again with a trademark banger. The extensive roster stood coach Lesmo's side in good stead: in addition to Simone Grigis, Dario Cremaschi and Emanuele Bombardieri coming off from the bench, Francesco Pezzotti left the three sticks to take up the forward line. Barely 5 minutes after his tactical overhaul, Pezzotti doubled Atalanta's lead at the end of a great solo play. Despite Pro Patria halving the deficit, Atalanta For Special ran out victorious in the end and lifted the title of REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!
