Atalanta at the "A merenda con lo sport" event
An initiative by the "Amici della Pediatria" charity and the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII
It was one of those you-cannot-miss events! And not for the sake of tradition alone, but also because the "A merenda con lo sport" (Tea-time with sports) initiative is a fun, pleasant and foremost child-oriented, equally to both the hospitalized ones and those who wished to spend an alternative afternoon, project...
"A merenda con lo sport" is an initiative conceived and endorsed by the Amici della Pediatria charity in association with the Bergamo Hospital and aimed at promoting awareness, among children and adult alike, through projects revolving around dieting and sport practice for the correct nurturing of children; an out-of-the-ordinary supper time and a family-oriented gathering hosted in the setting of the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII.
Not even the rain managed to hold the 11th edition of the project off!
Accompanied by Academy psycho-pedagogue Luca Pala, Under-15s and U16s players Giordano Carnemolla and Giovanni Zanatta attended the event interacting with the young attendees and dabbled with some of the activities on offer during the meeting.
Being able to attend the 11th "A merenda con lo sport" event allowed us to spend a lovely evening, magnified by the ever warm and special smile of all the attending children and by the invaluable empathy and passion that lead all the volunteers, to whom everyone owes a simple but heartfelt acknowledgement.
