Winning debuts for both the U16s and U15s
The Academy's Sunday opened up with the Primavera's winning ways as coach Bosi's lads imposed themselves 4-3 away at Sampdoria courtesy of Baldo's brace and single goals by Fiogbe and Armstrong. The U17s ran out 3-2 winners from their road game v Südtirol thanks to Damiano's double scoring and Martano's single goal. Off to a double winning league debut, both the U16s and the U15s ushered in the new season with a win over Mantova at the Centro Bortolotti: 5-1 for the formers, thanks to Amalfitano's hat-trick and single goals by Berrima and Stocco, and 6-0 for the latters with Gagliardi, Cappellato (a brace each), Meyou and Torrente (single goals). On Monday, the U18s welcome Sampdoria in ZIngonia for their late kick-off.
With the W-U15s also bringing the Preseason Tournament to the start, the black-and-blue lasses suffered a 2-1 setback at the hands of Juventus on MD1 (Basile on the scoresheet for Atalanta).
