Mateo Retegui, King of goals: crowned "Best Striker Of The Season"

Following the "MVP | Best Striker" award, Mateo Retegui has earned yet another accolade from Lega Serie A. In recognition of his outstanding season, the Atalanta striker and Italian International has been awarded the "Striker of the Season" laurel, the prize reserved for the "Capocannoniere" of the 2024/25 Serie A Enilive campaign.

With an impressive tally of 25 goals, not only has Retegui claimed the league's scoring crown, but also etched his name into Atalanta's history books by becoming Atalanta's all-time top scorer in a single Serie A season, having surpassed Filippo Inzaghi's long-standing club record of 24 goals in a single Serie A season, set back in the 1996/97 campaign.
